Spend Valentine’s Day with Boyd Meets Girl, Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd and American cellist Laura Metcalf, who have toured the world sharing their eclectic mix of music from Debussy and Bach to Radiohead and Beyoncé. Both acclaimed soloists in their own right, Boyd has been described as “truly evocative” by The Washington Post, and as “a player who deserves to be heard” by Classical Guitar Magazine, while Metcalf, who has also toured as a member of the popular chamber ensembles Eighth Blackbird, Break of Reality and Sybarite5, has been called “brilliant” by Gramophone

Boyd Meets Girl

The Newport Classical Recital Hall is a beautiful and acoustically exceptional 182-seat venue that is home to Newport Classical's year-round Chamber Series, in addition to educational workshops and gatherings. This space also serves as the main offices for Newport Classical. 

PARKING
Free parking is available on a first come first served basis in a lot directly across Dearborn Street. Additional resident-only parking located along Dearborn, Baptist, and Perry Streets. Additional visitor parking can be found on Thames and Spring Streets.

ACCESSIBILITY
Fully wheelchair accessible. An accessible ramp is available through the All Saints Chapel entrance on Dearborn Street.

If you are unable to use your tickets, you may donate them to Newport Classical for resale up until 90 minutes prior to the performance. Once your donated tickets are received by the box office, a tax receipt will be mailed to you approximately four weeks after the performance date.

Subject to availability, if you are unable to attend a performance, you will be eligible for a complimentary exchange into a future performance in the same season. Exchanges may be requested up until the performance curtain time, and ticket buyers will be asked to pay the difference in price should the replacement performance ticket price exceed that of the original ticket.
