Opening Night with Delirium Musicum

This concert is made possible through the generous support of Steve and Jennie Huttler & Suzanna and John Laramee.

Ring in the 57th Newport Classical Music Festival with a performance by fiery, self-conducted chamber orchestra Delirium Musicum as we return to The Breakers for Opening Night. Described as “ferocious and rhythmically mesmerizing” by the San Francisco Classical Voice, the ensemble is known for challenging expectations and redefining classical music as a red-hot concert experience. In a program featuring masterworks from the Baroque to the music of tomorrow, Delirium Musicum promises to deliver a concert experience that radiates with fierce and unapologetic creative fervor. Against the gilded glamour of The Breakers mansion, this evening promises to be an incandescent, electrifying experience, kicking off the 2026 Music Festival with a bang.
