In 2019, we received a generous challenge grant from the Alletta Morris McBean Charitable Trust to establish a $1,000,000 Capital Reserve over the course of four years.
The goal of this campaign is to:
- Establish a $1M Capital Reserve
- Ensure future financial stability – the need for which has never been greater after the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Remain a valuable community asset
- Avoid relying on government funding to support unforeseeable losses
- Expand education and engagement programs
- Offer free community programming
- Present the finest musical artistry
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we have successfully completed the first three years, totaling $750,000 to secure the organization for the next generation, and we are already 80% of the way to our final goal.
