PROJECT Trio [FREE]

This concert is generously presented as part of the BankNewport Community Concerts Series with additional support from the Newport County Fund at the Rhode Island Foundation, a Legislative Grant of the RI House of Representatives sponsored by Rep Cortvriend & Speaker Shekarchi, and the NewportFed Charitable Foundation. 

Get ready for a high-energy, genre-blending afternoon with PROJECT Trio! Known for their electrifying stage presence, the trio fuses classical, jazz, hip-hop, and world music for audiences of all ages. This free concert features a program ranging from Mozart and Bach to Bernstein and Beatles classics, alongside original works by PROJECT Trio themselves. Praised by Gramophone for “ranging from Baroque to nu-Metal and taking in pretty much every stylism in between,” the group brings their infectious energy and playful creativity to Newport, transforming our stage into a playground of rhythm, melody, and surprise.

PROJECT Trio

The Newport Classical Recital Hall is a beautiful and acoustically exceptional 182-seat venue that is home to Newport Classical's year-round Chamber Series, in addition to educational workshops and gatherings. This space also serves as the main offices for Newport Classical. 

PARKING
Free parking is available on a first come first served basis in a lot directly across Dearborn Street. Additional resident-only parking located along Dearborn, Baptist, and Perry Streets. Additional visitor parking can be found on Thames and Spring Streets.

ACCESSIBILITY
Fully wheelchair accessible. An accessible ramp is available at the main entrance on Dearborn St. 

Doors will open at 2:00 PM, however, please arrive early to find parking.

This is a free, general admission concert. Guests may choose their own seats.

This concert is approximately an hour long, without intermission.
