“The 2025 Newport Classical Music Festival continues its 56th year through July 22, offering music lovers the chance to experience intimate concerts in some of Newport’s most iconic venues. While many performances are sold out, tickets remain available for several world-class concerts featuring renowned artists performing in settings ranging from historic mansions to picturesque outdoor locations. Tonight, July 8, acclaimed pianist Sara Davis Buechner takes the stage at Castle Hill Inn at 7:30 PM. Known for her “intelligence, integrity, and all-encompassing technical prowess” according to the New York Times, Buechner will perform a jazz-inspired program featuring works by John Alden Carpenter, Vernon Duke, Dana Suesse, Ravel, and Poulenc. The concert includes complimentary desserts and coffee during intermission, set against Newport’s stunning summer sunset on the water.”
