Classical Rivalries

This concert is currently SOLD OUT; however, we recommend CLASSICAL LIEDER: ART IN SONG as an alternative. Please email your name and phone number to info@newportclassical.org to join the waitlist.

This concert is made possible through the generous support of Robert H. Connell and Michelle Duffy

This concert with our Festival Artists explores the famous feud between Brahms and Liszt, in which both sought to build upon their own legacies to match that of the great Mozart. Reacquaint yourself with these timeless classics as these composers duke it out for greatness. There’s no rivalry like a classical rivalry!

LISZT Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, 5, 6
