The Fenway Quintet has been entertaining audiences in the greater Boston area since 2006 when they formed as student chamber ensemble at Boston University. After graduation, the Fenway Quintet quickly established themselves as one of the areas most esteemed professional brass quintets. Its members can be seen performing in many of the local professional orchestras including the Boston Pops, Atlantic Symphony, Symphony New Hampshire, Opera Odyssey, Vista Philharmonic Orchestra, Glens Falls Symphony (NY), New Bedford Symphony, Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
As a chamber group, they have performed all over New England at various venues and chamber music series events. Equally comfortable in the classical, jazz, and pop genres, the Fenway Quintet is driven to present its audience with a concert going experience that will entertain and delight with a sampling of all musical genres as well as providing musical education programs to area youth. The Fenway Quintet has made a commitment over the years to help promote new works for the brass quintet. Many of the works they have performed have been arranged by quintet members in addition to seeking out and commissioning new works for the ensemble to premiere. Fenway’s members are also heavily involved in promoting music education programs and presenting youth concerts that will inspire the next generation of brass musicians.
